Hi! I'm a big fan of the Capriccio app! I've been using it a lot and loving it. But recently, something seems to have changed, and I can’t use Google Drive in storage anymore. How can I fix this? What are "third-party app permissions"? I don’t know much about it, but it seems like I need to grant some permissions to connect Google Drive. Dropbox, OneDrive, and other apps work fine, but why can’t I suddenly connect to Google Drive?

I even sent an email about this issue, but why haven’t you responded? I’ve been waiting for a while... It would be great if you could resolve this issue quickly, especially since I need it for my dance lessons. By the way, I’m using a Galaxy S24! Please help me out! If I need to purchase a paid app or subscription to solve this, let me know too!after.jpgbefore.png

Hi there!

First of all, thank you so much for being a fan of Capriccio! 😊 We're really glad to hear you've been enjoying the app.

We totally understand how frustrating it must be not to be able to use Google Drive right now. We’ve temporarily hidden the Google Drive importing feature because of some new security requirements from Google. We’re working hard on a solution, but it might take a little time to fully bring it back.

We also apologize for not getting back to you sooner regarding your email – that wasn’t our intention, and we’ll make sure to be more responsive moving forward.

In the meantime, there’s a simple workaround! You can download the music files you need directly from Google Drive to the Files app on your Galaxy S24. Once that’s done, just go to Storages → Local Storages (Just above Network Storages where you used import your music from Google Drive), and you’ll be able to import the music directly from your device.

We know it’s not the ideal situation, but it should help keep things moving until we get everything sorted out. Thanks so much for your patience, and feel free to reach out if you need any further help!
