hey everyone,

A class action lawsuit is going to be launched at the end of the
month. if anyone is interested in signing up, please direct them to
this website - http://www.g20defence.ca/ - starting Monday July 12th
2010.

They are considering one or more civil actions against the police and
other state actors, including the potential for class action
litigation.  This litigation would seek redress for the civil and
human rights violations that were committed by police and other
authorities during the G20.  If your rights were violated and you are
serious about pursuing a civil remedy, please complete the following
form.  The privacy of this information will be protected under
solicitor-client privilege and will not be disseminated to anyone
other than the members, employees, or agents of the Law Office of
David Midanik without your permission.

- Were you arrested at the Graduate Students’ Union building, at the
University of Toronto, on the night of Saturday June 26th?
- Were you detained by police when they “kettled” people at Queen and
Spadina on June 27th during the rain storm?
