The 5th Annual Capoeira Malês DC Batizado and Troca de Cordas will be on Saturday, September 17 from 1-5 pm at the Banneker Community Center (2500 Georgia Ave NW).

The event will feature capoeira, maculele and Afro-Brazilian dance performances, in addition to the student's initiation and graduation ceremony.

The event is FREE for audience members!
