Hello,
As many of you know CapoeiraDC is partnering with Sambart Entertainment and the Brazilian Embassy and Consulate to organize the first annual Afro-Brazilian Arts & Cultural Heritage Festival this summer. The festival is scheduled for June 7-12 and will be held in various venues throughout DC. In the next week or so we will be announcing the artists that will be performing at the event. For more information check out www.afrobrazilfest.com.
Please help promote the event by:
1) Share the website with your network. Feel free to post the information on your favorite blog or list serve
3) Grab some flyers at the academy and leave them at your favorite restaurant or coffee shop
The festival supports Capoeiradc's mission of capoeira instruction, arts outreach and access, and youth development. Thanks for you help in bringing the DC community together.
