Привет всем из Москвы!

I assume that Kris has not passed any of my greetings (yes, shame on
you!), thus better if do it myself.
Hope that everything is going well, as I'm having a lot of fun here!

I have also attended some classes of AxeCapoeira in Moscow, and must
say - a lot of fun! Where to start - three times a week, plus once a
week acrobatics (no, haven't been so crazy to do it so often),
especially that it involves a lot of sweat, pain and blood...plenty of
push-ups, press-ups and the like accompanied by 'suffer for another 20
sec!!!' from the instructor...in general, they take it much too
seriously (don't think they quite understand the idea of capeoire
being also a game/dance/fun/conversation...etc.). Yesterday we had a
hoda..and two guys took it a bit too far, and it ended up in a fight
(I mean a proper one - Fri eve out in Stoke), five minutes later we
could continue...not that anybody (except of me) was much surprised.
In general, it involves a lot of 'dirty tricks' and the more often you
can make your opponent hit the ground the better (which makes it even
more fun as the floor is made of the same stuff as ordinary pavement,
which means that each time I come back home I have blisters, cuts and
bleeding feet) - but this is the way to do it here!

On Sat starts a seminar (running for 7 days) with 'Instructor Pe' from
Brazil (does anybody know him?!), but given that they all are so
exited that he does dzu-ditsu as well - my feeling is that again - it
will be done the Russian way (blood, sweat and tears).

Can't wait really to be back home and start enjoying capoeira again
without being forced to kick people in their faces (all explanations
that I don't necessarily have the desire for people to suffer when I
do capoeira don't meet with any understanding...). So 'softies'! I'm
coming back home soon...feels so good already!!

Take care, stay high up from the floor and be nice to each other :-)

Axe! (by the way, each time I say it to somebody during the class,
they think that this is my name :-)
XX N.
