Announcing Cap'n Proto sister project: Sandstorm Personal Cloud Platform

Today I'm excited to announce the launch of the project Cap'n Proto was designed all along to support: Sandstorm.

Sandstorm is a platform for "personal clouds". It makes it easy for every end user to run their own personal server on which they install web apps through an easy point-and-click interface. Every app runs in an isolated secure sandbox, with the ability to use Cap'n Proto RPC to communicate between apps. The sandbox is based on the same Linux kernel features as LXC/Docker, making it easy to port apps written on any Linux-based tech stack.
