Nagendra Naidu is a powerful police officer. He wants to see his son Radhakrishna a.k.a. Radha also as a good police officer. He always dreams of his son bashing the dons and get a state government's medal which should be presented through his hands. However, his wife Sarala wants to see her son as a super star. Then a peculiar GO gets passed by the state government by which any honest person is eligible for a Police job. As Nagendra Naidu convinces his wife that all the training that is needed for a film hero could be learnt in just three months time in the Police Academy, Sarala agrees to join him in the Police Academy. Radha falls in love with Krishnaveni alias Krishna at the police academy. The latter too loses her heart to him. At this juncture, her photo appears in the TV saying that she was a big Naxalite leader. The actual story gets revealed with a small twist. Was Krishna framed as a Naxalite or is she really a Naxalite? What happens to the love between Radha and Krishna? How far was Radha able to fulfil the dream of his father Nagendra Naidu? The answers to all these questions form the second half of the film.

A hero is a real person or a main fictional character who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, courage, or strength. The original hero type of classical epics did such things for the sake of glory and honor. Post-classical and modern heroes, on the other hand, perform great deeds or selfless acts for the common good instead of the classical goal of wealth, pride, and fame. The antonym of hero is villain. Other terms associated with the concept of hero may include good guy or white hat.
Jagapathi Babu gets a very interesting role and does full justice to it throughout the film. Especially in the second half, his comic timing was good. Brahmaji as the spoof action hero is quite funny and evokes good laughs. Vennela Kishore, Naresh and other supporting cast do well in their roles. Comedian Satya is very good and evokes solid laughs.
Last but not the least, Nidhi Agerwal looks gorgeous and is glamor treat for the audience. He chemistry with Ashok Galla is also fine. The interval bang and all the scenes as to how hero handles the missing gun is designed well. The film is also ended on a fun note which looks good.
Coming to the director Sriram Aditya, he has done a good job with the film. He has showcased Ashok Galla superbly and does not make him overact in any area whatsoever. He mixes neat thrills with comedy in the second half through a gripping screenplay and adds fun elements in the narrative.
Julayi: In this 2012 Trivikram directorial, Allu Arjun and Ileana D'Cruz play the lead pair. Allu Arjun's character Ravi hates to work hard and believes in making easy money. The title 'Julayi' means 'wanderer' and that's exactly who he is. However, though all he does is laze around, he manages to help the police crack a Rs 1,500 crore bank robbery. And of course, he understands the value of hard work and settles down in a job at the end.
Bheeshma: In this 2020 movie directed by Venky Kudumula, Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna play the lead pair. Our hero, Bheeshma, is a meme creator but goes on to become the CEO of a company called 'Bheeshma Organics' that promotes organic farming. And all this happens because he falls for a woman named Chitra (Rashmika) who works for a company involved in organic farming. All it takes is for Bheeshma to read a book on the subject.
There are also films where the hero becomes the Chief Minister with zero experience in politics. They just land in the country after their studies or quit their jobs, and accomplish the feat. Films like NOTA, Bharat Ane Nenu and Leader are some examples.
