Pacific Region,

It has been a rich couple of weeks of June across the region. There is much to give thanks for and to also continue to pray for.

We had a team return from the Dominican Republic, a team go through the Chinatown project; a SG to ONS, staff trained at Formatio, Interns oriented in Chico and teams touching down in New Zealand and the Philippines. I am very proud of the work of the region.

I have some helpful information regarding regional operations that you need to know and an honoring word to a staff person who we dearly love and cherish.

Regional Need To Know Info

I am happy to announce, starting tomorrow, Audrey Chan will be the new regional contracts administrator. All contract needs will go to her. Audrey is transferring to the Silicon Coast's Community College team and will also be offering limited part time support to the region. Praise the Lord for Audrey.

The fiscal year end is today. Please turn in expense reports by Monday to your supervisor. This will help finance people with the July 1 Workday transition.

PCards are in the mail to you now.  Starting July 1, 2017 all  expenses will be recorded in Workday. Expense reports will be due in August. Stay tuned for more announcements on how to do this. To the Staff Directors: your training will be scheduled soon.

Any questions regarding anything Workday goes to Sarah Davney and Audrey Chan who will be our regional help desk people. Please reach out to them first before calling Madison.

Lastly, let's Thank God for Nancy Browne!   [Cheer now] We thank God for her wonderful and faithful service to college students across the region. I have appreciated her dedication to servant-hood as she has served multiple regions through her career, to mentor younger administrative staff and to make ministry happen behind the scenes for the field.  She has served faithfully with a sincere dedication to God. I have seen her be a risk taker in her relationship with God by joining a worship team at student conference; to ask good questions about how she needs to keep growing in her faith and to invest into other regional administrators across the country. We honor Nancy for her love and dedication to us and the mission of God to university world.

[Please stand]

We, InterVarsity Staff of the Pacific Region, honor and thank you for your wonderful service to God and his purposes in this world.  May you continue to experience the love and care of God. God is trustworthy in all that you do and the places you will go. Be blessed and honored in the name of the Father, Son and Spirit!

[Wild applause]

In Christ,
collin
