The NC Conservation Network is distributing post cards that are addressed to the Governor that ask him to support clean energy instead of attacking it.  As you can see from the email below from Abby Bishop, they are looking for help in getting these postcards distributed.  How do others feel about having these at our meetings and tabling events?  Jackie and Chelsea -- does our NC Chapter plan any similar effort?  The only thing I've seen from our Chapter is the new postcard addressing Coal Ash cleanup.

Hi Harvey,

As someone who cares about solar and renewable energy in NC I wanted to let you know about an opportunity for you to do more to protect this growing industry. We need folks like you to help us collect petition postcards in your community. Can I send you some postcards?

Sign up here and tell me how many you’d like: http://action.ncconservationnetwork.org/solarpostcard

NC is continuously ranked nationally as a top ten solar state and our clean renewable industries employ more than 26,000 people. Now, Governor McCrory's administration is attacking solar by attempting to put new restrictions on an industry that is bringing both cleaner air and good jobs to our state.1 That’s why we need folks like you to help us tell the Governor that North Carolinians support clean energy!

Passing out these postcards is an easy way to engage and educate folks about solar and renewable energy. You can collect them at your church, civic group meeting, class, neighborhood, or just look out for an event near you. We’ll mail you the cards along with everything you’ll need to talk to folks about this issue.

Get your postcards today and help us stop the attack on NC’s clean renewable industries.

For our state,

Abby

P.S. You can check out what the postcard petitions look like by clicking here.

I like the idea of having the postcards at our meetings and tabling events.
