Fwd: public transit plan

FYI - attached is a 1 pager with some talking points related to the proposed Wake County Transit Plan and a pdf file with the draft recommended plan.  There is a public hearing in Raleigh on May 18th.  Do we have anyone on the Conservation Committee or ExCom who is willing and available to present a two minute public comment?

I’ve attached some talking points/sample comments as well as the proposed plan itself.  The plan incorporates both bus rapid transit and commuter rail transit and the proposed maps for those are included in the plan in addition to much more detailed information.
