Duke Neighbors to Governor McCrory:  Have Dinner with Us!

ACT Against Coal Ash, a coalition of communities currently impacted or threatened with Duke Energy’s toxic coal ash, is holding a press conference this coming Thursday at 11:00 a.m. on the 200 block of Blount St. across from the Governor’s Mansion in downtown Raleigh in response to the recent revelation that Governor McCrory had a secret meeting with Duke Energy last June in the midst of ongoing controversy over handling of the coal ash disaster. We are asking that people try to arrive by 10:30 so that we can get the press conference started on time.

What:  Press Conference to give ACT Response to McCrory/Duke secret dinner

When:  Arrive at 10:30, Press Conference at 11:00

Where:  200 block of Blount St. Across from the Governor’s Mansion in downtown Raleigh
