Reminder: Conservation Committee meeting tomorrow at 7 pm at my house

Good evening everyone, it's Marty. Hope you're all doing well in this gray twilight.

I wanted to remind you about the Conservation Committee meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday, August 12th) at 7 p.m. at my house (4029 Bamburgh Lane, Apex, NC, 27539).
My house is the first one on the right as you turn onto my street. The driveway should accommodate three more cars (plus mine) with some tight maneuvering, and the shoulders on the lawn should hold three more cars. If we have anyone else show up, I might have to ask my neighbor if we can borrow her driveway or see if some of y'all can carpool.
We should be OK right now since the current "yes" RSVP list consists of Adam, John Shaw, Harvey and Zak. I have not yet heard back from Kathryn, John Harper, or Tanner. Katie and Chelsea may call in.

Bring food and drinks if you desire refreshments. I will have some unsweetened iced tea (with sweetener), beer, and dried apple slices on hand.

Here is the final agenda:

1.    General recruitment needs - finding more volunteers, meeting/screening/sorting current recruits
2.    New guidelines re: letter sign-ons
3.    Clean Energy for Raleigh - general update, volunteer recruitment, organizing, endorsement outreach, publicity with CACs/businesses/others (Chelsea/Harry/Marty/Zak/Adam)
4.    Climate rules - August monthly meeting, September rally and busing, LTE party, additional ideas (Harvey/Marty/Zak)
5.    Fracking - MEC meetings, chapter position, working with National, other opportunities, building capacity (Marty/Harvey/Zak)
6.    Triennial review of water quality rules - meetings, comment period, club position, organizing (Harvey/Zak)
7.    Letter to David Price (Harvey/Zak)
8.    Morrisville water proposal (Harvey/Chelsea/Adam/Harry/Zak)
9.    Miscellaneous

One last note: do not park on the immediate corner of Bamburgh and the road off of which you turn, Pierce Olive. People tend to drive too fast down Pierce Olive and don't always pay great attention while turning, so your car might get bumped if you park on that corner.

Chips and salsa now on the menu, too.
