Two funded opportunities for prospective MA students in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

Dear Colleagues,

As the Director of Graduate Studies at University at Albany's Department of Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSS), I would like to inform you about two exciting funding opportunities for any student interested in pursuing an M.A.:

  1. The Dean's Merit Award provides $1,000/semester for in-state students and $2,500/semester for domestic out-of-state students to any applicant with a minimum GPA of 3.00 in their bachelor's degree. For more information, see flyer below and attached.
  2. The Joan E. Schulz Graduate Assistantship in Feminist Pedagogy provides a first-year stipend and second-year full graduate assistantship (including tuition). The application deadline for this opportunity is February 15th.
