This Wednesday February 11th! Film Screening of "Arrest the Midwife"

The UAlbany WGSS co-sponsored film screening event for "Arrest the Midwife" will be this Wednesday, February 11th from 6 to 8:30pm in the Standish Room (3rd floor of the Science Library, UAlbany).  

The documentary centers the story of Certified Professional Midwives in Penn Yan, NY serving a largely Mennonite community. Learn about the status of CPMs in NY and legislative efforts to decriminalize community midwives who work out-of-hospital.
