Hope you are all enjoying this fabulous weather and had a nice International Women's Day. I look forward to seeing you at the conference in a couple weeks.

WGSS at UAlbany received an anonymous matching donation challenge up to $5,000, which we have to raise by Thursday to get the matching funds. We are just over $1,500 now so have a ways to go.  No donation is too small.  If you would like to contribute, we would be so appreciate.  Here is the link.

March Matchness is underway at UAlbany!

Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) has a generous matching donor, which means gifts to the department will go even further. From March 4–12, the campus community is rallying to support UAlbany students and programs. This is one of the most important fundraising moments of the year for WGSS.

Contributions of any size are welcome and help sustain the department’s work while strengthening the opportunities available to our students.

WGSS students make meaningful contributions to community organizations through our internship program, advance feminist pedagogy through our Teaching Collective, take on leadership roles on campus and beyond, and present their research and creative work at conferences. WGSS faculty continue to be recognized for their cutting-edge research, service, pedagogy, and public scholarship. We are proud of the department’s accomplishments and of the community that makes this work possible.
