Capital District Feminist Studies Faculty

The goal of this group is for faculty, students, and anyone else in the capital district whose research and/or teaching interests are in feminist studies (broadly conceived) to get to know one another, network, and build a stronger feminist studies community.

Specifically, this Google group will allow us to share information about feminist studies events going on at our respective institutions with the hope that, rather than these events occurring in institutional silos, there will be more involvement from the feminist studies community and colleagues and students from different institutions. Furthermore, we can use this Google group to share research opportunities (e.g. calls for papers, conferences, and grants) as well as to request feedback on our own individual projects (e.g. ask the group if they know of good resources on topic X or see if anyone is willing to read over a paper we’ve written). 

We would like this group to be as inclusive as possible, so if you know of other feminist studies faculty, students, or anyone else in the capital district who would like to join, please have them email Michelle Napierski-Prancl |  napiem@sage.edu
