FUNDAMENTALS of YOGA -
a 4- week, theme-based beginner's yoga course

evening (to be decided asap) starting from the 1st or 2nd week of June, 6pm-7:30pm
Where - The Anti-Aging Clinic, 10 Kloof Street, Sea Point
What - You will be taken through a process consisting of a weekly class based on themes as well as home practice. You will be encouraged to practice during the week, as well as sense how the themes relates through other aspects of your life. The idea is to give you a solid foundation, and a focus on subtleties in your yoga practice.
The approach will allow you to become truly familiar with and integrate a yoga practice into your life, empowering you with a practice that you can take anywhere and that you can draw from whenever you need or are inspired. Thework we will do is rich with imagery and multi-dimensional – so that the yoga practice becomes truly felt – an enjoyable process rather than a gruelling regimen, one that will give you insight as well as tools to work with in other areasof your life.
A few of the themes that we will cover are stillness, acceptance, rhythm, flow, stability and change, stimulation, relaxation and integration and you will be encouraged to contemplate them in other aspects of your life. A follow-on course will explore the natural elements, earth, water, air and fire in our bodies and how we can use them to inspire our practice.
The price will be R380 for the full 4-weeks, a R200 deposit will be required to secure your place.Notes and guidelines for self-practice are included
