Some exciting things have been going on at the Association, and it's a
testament to all of your hard work. Unfortunately, I have not been a part of
these happenings. And I now realize that living and working in Boston make
it impossible for me to be fully involved in CVAB. Therefore, please accept
this correspondence as my resignation from the Board of Directors.
Please note that I enjoyed meeting everyone, and you all did a great job of
making me feel welcome. I would be happy to perhaps serve on an advisory
committee of some sort, where I can field questions and provide legal advice
and/or information as needed. In short, please feel free to contact me with
any questions you may have going forward. I remain committed to serving the
Cape Verdean population, and to the great work CVAB is doing in order to
accomplish the same. If I can be of assistance in that capacity, please do
not hesitate to let me know.
Again, thank you for everything--and keep up the good work!
Very Truly Yours,
Thiadora
