Andy Volk, VP of Developer Relations at MXit will be presenting on MXit's new AP and hosting a Hackathon:
"Mxit is Africa's largest mobile social network with over 44 million registered users and 10 million monthly active users. I'll be presenting on the new Mxit APIs, showing how you can use the Mxit microtransaction, messaging, and user APIs to quickly build robust social apps on Mxit, and talking about the successes and challenges that developers have encountered when building apps on Mxit.
I'll be kicking off the evening with my Mxit talk, followed by another Ruby developers' "Hack Night", giving you a chance to work on your Ruby applications alongside your fellow developers in an open group setting. Pizza and drinks will be provided, sponsored by Mxit and Silicon Cape."
Date/Time: Wed 9th May at 18:15 (Please note earlier start time!)
