Twelve months ago my daughter and son in law bought a house in Vermont (northeastern USA) and in the garage was a partially built wooden boat.  The initial builder was Ed Day, an active participant in the CH21 Yahoo Group. Ed finished the hull, turned the boat over, started to work on the cabin, but had to stop several years ago because of an injury. To cut a long story short, the boat was trailered three miles to my house, placed keel up again, next to the winter's firewood. All the work to the boat itself will have to be done outside in warm weather. I have space to construct the spars inside. I'm looking forward to being advised by Group members on the tasks before me, and, when appropriate, offer what I can in return. I am already thankful to Dudley who referred me to a colleague of his in Virginia who fabricated all the hardware for the boat, done with the highest level of craftsmanship.

Nice looking job so far.  Our Ch21, Elvee was hull finished by someone else and we did all the rest.  Spars over the winter inside and everything else in the driveway.  Took delivery of the hull June first last year and launched early July.  Ask anything that may help.
