Hello all,

I'm a plans builder on Camano Island, WA that has two CLC stitch & glue prams (8' & 12') under my belt to date.  I've contacted Dudley about the Oppikat and the possibility of builder a slightly larger version for either the West Coast or the USVI (where I run a charter business).  I'm seriously looking into the CH21 with bilge keels as I'm considering cruising the San Juans then shipping the finished product to the UK for an extended cruise of the Thames and Europe when my son gets older (better than backpacking).  I think a tabernacled version with reasonable accommodations aboard would make an epic journey.

Stay tuned for videos of the various builds on my YT channel Midnight Maker.  I'm also a semi-professional woodworker, sailing instructor and professional rigger that tries to think outside the box as needed.  I just want to get in on the ground floor here so when I finally pull the trigger, I'll have some gravitas for getting advice and also lending assistance when appropriate with my skill set.  I'm off next week to go help Leo and work on Tally Ho...

Take care,

Chris Larsen

CaptainSkully, a few years ago a builder in Australia built a CH21 for cruising the UK canals. I remember that there was a problem with width allowed in the canals. I supplied additional info that he needed to build his boat a little narrower than standard.
