Hello All,

Just starting this journey and pretty daunted still.  Great to read through all of these posts....

If anyone wants to follow my progress, I'll be adding pictures on Instagram  @tim.boat.

All the Best

Regards
Tim

Hi Tim.
Don't be too daunted, it's just one piece of wood at a time, and your skills and confidence will improve quickly once you get going. There is another builder just about to start in Queensland, he is going to start on his spars first. I am currently machining timber to send to him for his mast. He is also a little daunted at starting the project. He is not currently a member of this group so I Will email you his contact details and you may be able to help each other.
Cheers Ron

Hi Tim
Hello from Perth Western Australia
I have almost finished my build. It has taken almost 8 years and I have enjoyed every minute it of it. I knew nothing when I started and learned as I went. I am looking forward to following your progress.
