In early June, I bought a new house with a large, heated, isolated workshop (25' x 24.5'). On June 15, I moved my Cape Henry 21 to its new location with the help of 8 good friends who follow my project with interest. Recently, I installed casters to move it from the inside to the outside.

I had to remove the frame from the door because it was missing an inch; this with the agreement of the owner who was aware of the thing since the beginning of the project.

Joelan is looking very nice. Your new workshop looks great also, Nice to have plenty of head room for when you turn the boat over. Keep us posted with your progress.Ron

Great team effort. Those 8 friends will come in handy when you have to turn Joelan over. Great photos. Looks like you are doing a very neat job.

The family and I visited Quebec for 2 days at the end of June (massive roadtrip).  Wish I would've been able to swing by and take a look at your build so far. It looks fantastic. About to start placing this bulkheads this week. Any tips you can share about your own experiences getting to this part of your build?

The big secret is to be square; so I continuously recalculate. A difference of 2, 3 mm by 30 cm will give a large error over a greater length.

I agree with Andre, The time spent setting up the bulkheads is important. Any inacuracies at this stage will lead to bumps in the hull later, so take your time, work accurately and enjoy the process.Ron
