Hello,
This is Michael Baccellieri, my second attempt to l log-in. I bought a preowned CH21 in 2016. I made the mistake of buying this east coast vessel built by and amateur carpenter sight unseen. The builder delivered her to Oregon. Most of the hull was built to spec but the rest of the vessel including the rigging and sails were something of the builders own creation.
It took me a good portion of the spring and early summer of 2017 to bring her to Dudley specs.....with Dudley’s help over the phone, email and text. She now is a little beauty. The only obvious different that could not be changed; is the pervious owner raised the cabin hight by appox 6”. Other than that the previous owner would not recognize this vessel out of a line-up! I believe “Slough Coot” would be classified as a re-launch. You can check her out along with many other vessels I’ve built on my website at welcomesloughboatworks.com
Also I will post photos of “Slough Coot” once I figure that feature out. Maybe someone from this group could help me with that. Best to all CH21 owners, mb

Hi, I am Brian Johnson. I finished my CH21 5 years ago and have had a blast sailing her since then on the Solent in the South of England. We have raced together and done a lot of cruising. When Louise, my wife, has forgiven me for the 4 years of neglect when I was building her, I intend to build one of her bigger sisters so that I can stand up. I love her to bits !

Bob Aylott, a journalist from yachting monthly, saw us in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight and was kind enough to do a lovely video below.

Good luck to those of you building - the end result is really worthwhile - nice one Dudley !

Hi Brian, I have watched the video of your lovely boat a few times, nice to meet you here.

Michael, when you are getting ready to post you will see something to click on to add an attachment and then you can drag your photo(s) into the box.  Easy once you figure it out.  Your boat is beautiful inside and out.  You did  a great job getting her "right"
