I have just stood the mast for the first time. Starting to get excited about launching. Because I have made the main hatch strong enough to stand on,the mast can easily be raised by one person when standing on it. Lowering no problem either. I have used Dyneema for the side stays, but will have a stainless steel forestay for the structural furler. I am displaying, 'Sealion' in a wooden boat festival next weekend, and then a big push to get the engine and electrics installed. Ron

Spectacular!  Love the tabernacle.  Nothing like being able to make your own rigging too!

We also used Dyneema for our stays and are happy with the choice.
