1.  I am looking for an easy and safe way to fit the heavy steel centerboard into the case.  Someone, please tell me about your experience with fitting the centerboard.

2.  I have been building CH21 in Japan since 2022 and the work has progressed to painting the exterior shell, and hope to turn over the hull around the coming March.

3.  I am considering the way to fit the centerboard while turning over the hull, that is, 1) rotate the hull 90 degree, 2) insert the centerboard horizontally and take measures to prevent falling, 3) rotate the hull 90 degree to complete turning over.  I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice on this idea.

Hi Tom
I liftet up  the whole hull . When I drove the centerboard under it and liftet it up with the drum winch and a car jack.
Worked very easy and controled that way.
Unfortunately I only have pictures after the centerboard is in the slot.
Here I secured the heavy beast with some foame blocking and adjusted the position to insert the pin.

cheers
Max
