Hi All,
As our state government moves to promote Small Modular Reactors, we have set up a program at the state house with Dr. Ed Lyman, Nuclear Safety Director at the Union of Concerned Scientists, on Wednesday, November 12 to address the facts of SMRs. The public is invited to join in the conversation and we hope you can join us.
As you know, Governor Healey's energy bill, H.4144, includes Sec. 45 that repeals our MA law that states no new nuclear construction or operation is allowed without voter approval as a means for our government to open the door for SMRs.
Now is our time to set the record straight and move forward with clean, green, renewable, and safe energy for today and tomorrow. [See the articles below for more info.] Even the conservative Cato Institute argues against SMRs.
Please share the poster.
Should we set up a carpool for the day?
THANK YOU!
Diane
