Holtec STILL PLANS TO DUMP RADIOACTIVE WATER INTO CAPE COD BAY!
We have been told Holtec will be applying for the EPA issued National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the similar state Surface Water Discharge permit by March 31. Holtec has also incinuated they would give the 90 day notice to the EPA if they plan to dump without the permit! The EPA has been holding the hammer over Holtec and now must deny the requested modified permit to dump.
Representatives from Holtec, reps from state agencies, and legislators will be attending this meeting.
Come speak up and tell Holtec:
HELL NO! DON'T LET OUR BAY GLOW!!!
NOT ONE DROP!!!
The EPA and the MA DEP must deny Holtec their permit modification request to dump radioactive water by upholding the Clean Water Act and protect our Ocean Sanctuary! Call to action to follow.
Don't stop being alarmed! Diane
