Something that would be useful to me and maybe other makers who would like to try a Kickstarter project, is help making short videos.  A while ago I had an idea for a Kickstarter project (alas the window of opportunity has passed) and I found the hardest part was making a decent 1-2 minute video.  I know C3TV has a studio for public use but I have no idea how to put something like this together.  If we had some sort of support group of people who knew something about video production, either using the C3TV gear or not, then makers could produce videos for Kickstarter or for promoting other things including the Cap Cod Makers group itself.

Douglas,

I think this is right in line with what we were talking about last night at the weekly meet-up at CCCC, for everyone else we talked about our June meet-up being located at Cape Cod Community Media Center in Dennis Port.  They are a public access television station that offers classes on how to produce video's and audio along with editing.  I think that would tie in great with creating kickstarter videos.  For everyone else we also talked last night about trying to get maybe SCORE and the Cape Cod Young Professionals interested in what we are doing (and of course what they are doing).  If we, the Cape Cod Makers are, in part, going to be a business "accelerator" than we need organizations like them to help us to that end!!!
