2023-24 Cap Corps Volunteers, Ordering Sweatshirts, & More

Dear Cap Corps Alumni, 

The 2023-2024 Cap Corps Year is underway! The first volunteer year was 1993-94, so this makes it our 30th year! We have volunteers in Pittsburgh for the first time (!) as well as volunteers in DC. We are not operating the Cleveland House this year, but hope to have it up and running again next year. See the attached bio sheet to meet the new volunteers and see where they are serving. 

A few people have reached out wanting to get a new brown Cap Corps sweatshirt, and I'm ordering them now for the new volunteers. Place your order if you'd like one! I'll mail it to you in mid-October. The sweatshirts cost $21 ($23 for 2XL) + $4.00 for postage. Payments can be made by cash, check (CFVC), Zelle (capcor...@gmail.com), or Venmo (@Margaret-McIntyreStacy). PayPal charges us a fee for transactions. Complete this form to place an order:

Long-sleeved navy blue t-shirts with the same design are also available for $18 ($20 for 2XL). Add a comment at the end of the order form above if you'd like a long-sleeved T instead of a sweatshirt. 

The Cap Corps Retreats are coming up in the Fall, Winter, and Spring! Let me know if you're interested in returning to Alverno and cooking meals for the weekend. 

The Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN) is hosting their annual conference in DC this year, and they are having a 60th Anniversary Celebration on the evening of Friday, October 27th at the Festival Center in Adams Morgan. Ana Chapa, Skye Diego, Fr. Brian, and I plan to attend and would love for you to join us. The event is free but donations are welcome. Here's the link to register:
