Hi volunteer program directors and recruiters,

I'm forwarding you this email about the University of Dayton's GA program. Maybe you have a volunteer or two who find this a great next step. Maybe you yourself are discerning a master's degree in theology or pastoral ministry. Maybe you have a friend who would be interested. Anyway, below is the email.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Nick

"I credit UD for making me the person and minister I am almost on a daily basis. My pastoral approach to accompanying people from all different walks of life is guided by Marianist mentors, my sense of collaboration is guided by the principle of sodalities, my zeal for theological nuance and acuity was strengthened by my professors, and my vocation was affirmed by the opportunities afforded to me by my campus ministry graduate assistantship."

We are looking for faith-filled young adults who feel called to ministry and are interested in sharing their faith by ministering to college students while pursuing a Masters in Theology of Pastoral Ministry.

The University of Dayton Campus Ministry GA Program is a holistic lay ministry formation program that uniquely prepares graduates for campus ministry. Alums of our program have gone on to serve not only in campus ministry, but also in parish ministry, music ministry, Catholic schools, hospitals, social service agencies, and more.

Our graduate assistants work alongside seasoned campus ministers as they form their own ministerial identity and approach. GAs serve undergraduate students by journeying with them to cultivate faith, foster spiritual growth, and form Christian leaders through spiritual mentoring and discipleship, leading small groups, facilitating retreats, planning worship, coordinating service and justice initiatives, and more. Positions for the upcoming year will be comprised of unique portfolios that include combinations of the following: Residence Life Ministry, Retreats, Liturgy, Service and Justice, and Vocational Discernment ministries.   Tuition, stipend, and housing are provided.  Application and information at
https://www.udayton.edu/ministry/ga_program/index.php
or from Kelly Adamson, 937-229-2574.  Applications due February 1.

Please share this information with those you believe may be interested.
