Here's pretty much the email I sent last month:
I've been asked to give a talk on using MagicPoint (the open source
slide application that the OpenBSD developers use). But that
shouldn't really take more than about 15 minutes.
Does anyone else have a talk they'd be interested in giving (or one
they'd like someone else to give)?
DHO: Are you available to host?

To file under smart tricks I wish I knew, you (and others) have mentioned
how they update their OpenBSD boxes without bsd.rd (to avoid downtime) and
just untar the snaps. Now when I run bsd.rd I see that it does a few other
things like mtree and making devices. I'd love a 2 minute clue stick talk
on that.
.jh
Sure. We can do that.
Who all is coming on Thursday? (I have to find time to work on my
MagicPoint MagicPoint preso).
1. ME
2. JH
3. DO
4. JC
And I can also comment on the upgrading w/o bsd.rd if anyone wants. I
upgraded a server in Vancouver from 4.7 -> 4.8 -> 4.9 w/o a single major
problem via ssh.
OK, with only 3 others, I'm not going to do a presentation. But, I
will be bringing my other presentations and we can look through the
code and what the resulting presentations.

2011/5/25 Mike Erdely <mi...@erdelynet.com>:
If you can. If not, we can cancel and maybe more people will show up
next month.
I was planning on showing the code used to make my prior Magic Point
presentations along with the finished product.

Johan and I are meeting at VGP at 7 if anyone wants to join us.

I'll definitely be there tonight at 7. Are we just putting those
presentations on hold until next month?

Yeah. Johan felt guilty hoarding all of my knowledge and keeping it
to himself. ;-)
