I agree with you on the pivotal role Marrakesh treaty plays towards inclusion, overall development, and Agenda 2030, which cannot be dismissed nor disregarded.

In my attempt to write a 3min statement, with key messages,accepted by all and includes all persons with disabilities in our Asia Pacific Region, I had the challenging task to ensure it’s not specific, therefore in our key points we have: Accessibility is fundamental to inclusion of persons with disabilities. 

In addition to that the frameworks, strategy mentioned again also places emphasis on accessibility for all. Therefore indirectly the respective frameworks places Importance on the Marrakesh Treaty as well.

Please kindly refer to the final statement from the Asia Pacific Disability Constituency,( which would be read by our Abia Akram on the 30th of March) where i have now managed to include our Marrakech Treaty after omitting 4 unnecessary words, in order to accomodate. As my own input i also managed to add our Sendai Framework which is another equally important framework.And rightfully so, he statement couldnt be without these 2 key legal framework.
