The Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities for Sustainable Development (SGPwD) would like to share that the following countries have been selected to present Voluntary National Reviews (VNR’s) of their progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals at the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York in July, 2023:

Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, Central African Republic, Comoros, Chile, Croatia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, European Union, Fiji, France, Guyana, Iceland, Ireland, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Mongolia, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, St Kitts & Nevis, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, United Republic of Tanzania, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Viet Nam, Zambia

The SGPwD held a webinar for organizations of persons with disabilities about engaging in processes leading up to the HLPF, including Voluntary National Reviews, last year. A recording and copies of the presenter’s presentations are available at the bottom of this webpage.
We would also like to alert you to an upcoming live webinar on VNR’s being offered by the Women’s Major Group. It will take place on 20 October at 8:30 ET. It will cover how to work on VNR’s at a country level, and is for any organizations working on gender equality in the Voluntary National Review processes of their countries. It will be held with simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Spanish, and there is a registration link where you can include accessibility requirements here.
