A. Approach the presenter with the most direct route. Approach within hand shake reach. Salute and hold until the presenter lower his/her salute.

B. When presented the award. Remain on the left hand side of the presenter. Accept with left hand. Handshake. Smile for the camera.

C. Always render salute upon departure.

D. Step back one step and about face returning to your seat.
