EXHIBITION 1

COU HUO Project: Everything is temporary. Three Beijing locations. Three weekends.

Opening Party: Friday, October 9, 4-7 pm
Location 798 Art District, South Gate (look for the gold inflated tent!)

COUHUO is an ongoing project curated by Chen Xinpeng. This concept of creating a temporary space for exhibition started with the idea to put a tent in different locations in Beijing housing objects and actions as a space for engagement. Couhuo is a Chinese adjective that describes the clumsy and hasty approach to construction or realization of products and service. We want to recognize the distinctive character of China today that is defined by "couhuo." COU HUO is about ACTION, so here we have brought a tent with objects commissioned from twelve international artists and invite everyone to explore this space.

1.  October 9-11: 798 Art District, South Gate
2.  October 16-18: SOLANA parking lot, Chaoyang Park Road
3.  October 30-November1: CAFA area, No. 88 Huajiadi
Tent open Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 10am-7pm
