like to participate in a Task Force sub-committee or would like to
discuss volunteer opportunities, please contact Jaynellen Ladd at
830.964.2223 Monday - Friday.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON Each year the Canyon Lake Area
Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon to thank the volunteers who take
the time each week to spend 4-8 hours a day (some work more than one
day a week!) directing visitors to your businesses, answering phones,
referring our business members to inquirers and much, much more! Many
spend evenings and weekends assisting with Chamber events. They are
truly priceless! So much of what we do here would not be possible
without them. We are privileged to have 13 regular weekly volunteers
and 5 substitutes and special project volunteers. This year we are
hosting a luncheon for them September 13th 11:30am - 1:00pm at Hideout
on the Horseshoe Pavilion, with a 'Hee Haw' theme, and it should be
quite fun. And, being that the Chamber operates primarily on
membership dues collected, an annual allotment from WORD, any income
we raise from our annual BBQ Cook-Off and a few miscellaneous
donations, we would be happy to accept any donations for this event to
help make it truly special. If you are interested in donating towards
this Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, please contact Bonnie or
Jaynellen at 830.964.2223 or 800.528.2104.
