Given the updates of Feb-2012, I assumed that canviz was now independent of prototype.js.  Looks like the dependency was removed from some parts but not the whole thing??

Since I see use of "Class.create" in the latest Canviz.js, seems I still have jquery/prototype conflicts to content with.

Steve,

Apologies for the delay in response. Yes, I began work on removing Prototype from the Path library, which Canviz uses, but then I wasn't sure about some parts and postponed the work. But as of today Prototype should be completely gone from Path and Canviz (except for one Path example). I have not yet released new versions with these changes because I started switching the Canviz build system from make to jake but have not yet completed the transition. But you can get them from the repository.
