GTM and Google Analytics 4

Hi, 

I am facing an issue setting up Google Analytics 4 via Google tag manager. GTM doesn't recognize the GA4 tracking code and asks for a tracking code that starts with UA-****** whereas the GA4 tracking code starts with G-LEX*****.

If anybody has a solution for this or had successfully implemented GA4 with custom dimensions. Please help.

I'm not sure this is the correct venue for that question.

That said, I think you may be using the "Google Analytics Universal Analytics" tag, which takes a UA-code because it's for the previous version,.

What you actually want is a "Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration" tag.
