SMTP issues

Hello,

I've correctly configured the canvas smtp settings according to our
environment. I've also installed tcpdump, and watched the traffic.
it's not even hitting our SMTP servers, and the logs do not display
anything helpful.

Has someone else experienced this ?

Is there a way to make mail notifications more verbose so that it's
easier to debug ?

Are you running background jobs, and have you checked those logs?
