Media file is processing

to Canvas LMS Users

We have a self-hosted Canvas installation. We have been using RCE along with Canvas with videos that we upload to the course Files.

We have always been able to insert the video in a page by using the Course Media dropdown and then selecting the video.

With the latest release when we try to do that we get a message underneath the video filename that says "Media file is processing. Please try again later." See attached screenshot.

What is causing this? This was working before we upgraded to the latest release.

We were using stable/2023-03-15. We can migrate to any version that we need to in order to get the latest version.

Yes. but how do we confirm what version of RCE is running?
