Hi,
I have been trying to send message to canvas inbox by using Conversation

POST /v1/conversations

But I always get error 422,

The Get request worked alright, so the token is valid.
I basically replicated everything from a intercepted post request from browser apart from using token instead of the cookies.

Please help.
Thanks

Are you self-hosted, or Instructure-hosted?

Are you getting anything back in the response body?

Hi,
self-hosted I believe, I am a Student from The University of Auckland, and I have been using the university installation live api to test.
It's a error page in the response body.
Thanks for the fast reply

You should probably check with your school’s Canvas admins. If they’re self-hosted they’ll have access to logs. If not, they’ll have access to Instructure’s support.
