tool_consumer_instance_guid in external tool LTI launch parameters

Hi,

I'm working on development of a custom external tool integrating with Canvas. 

Up until today, when I created an assignment and chose my "external_tool" as the type, canvas would start an LTI launch that included many parameters, including "tool_consumer_instance_guid".

Today, however, I find that the tool_consumer_instance_guid is no longer included in the parameters. 

Has canvas updated their LTI launch code to no longer include this parameter? Is there some setting which on can use in order to have that included again in the sent parameters?

I'd be most grateful if anyone had any information about this.

Assuming you're developing against the Instructure-hosted Canvas, could you submit a support request from the course where you're not seeing the property?
