Course Pacing in self-hosted instance

I am currently running a self-hosted instance of Canvas Open Source, and I am trying to enable the Course Pacing feature.

I have tested this on multiple versions and deployments of Canvas, all fully updated, and I have already enabled the Feature Option for Course Pacing in the Account Settings.

But the checkbox to activate it does not appear in the Course -> Settings, as shown in the documentation.

Is Course Pacing available in the Open Source version, or is it exclusive to Canvas Cloud (Instructure-hosted)?
If it is available, could you provide guidance on how to activate it properly?
