Ihave a serato crate structure with 31k tracks all of which show up, under their current folder in serato and other library management programs but when I open Djay it shows the structure but almost all of the playlists are empty.
When I import purchased tracks (AIFF + MP3) from Beatport or BPMSupreme, cover shows up in Serato. Those files come with ID3v2.4 metadata.
When I save them with MP3tag, the covers won't show up anymore in Serato.
When I alter/save them with iTunes, no such issue.
Bonus:
Also VirtualDJ 2021 had trouble reading ID3v2.4 cover with AIFF, after changing the cover with mp3tag earlier verions.
Just tested it, but it's showing the proper cover too by now, even after altering with mp3tag.
Consider it fixed. Thanks again!
I loaded Lexicon and was able to search and sync the music list to my serato.
I went into my Serato and noticed that all my crates are not loading anymore and only the Lexicon crates are loaded.
I checked the external drive, all my crates and subcrates are still showing but they are not loading.
First you have to import your library, see the first half of this video: Convert your Serato DJ library to Rekordbox - YouTube
You can turn off the Merge option, so you will start with a fresh Lexicon library again.
