Note: All Finals Series will consist of semi-finals and championship final bouts. A full presentation will follow each Finals Series. Times may change according to entry numbers. Changes will be advised at registration.
Weapons Check: Weapons Check will be available from 5.30 – 8.00pm on Friday 27 April 2007. Weapons check will also be available from 15 minutes before registration for events each day at the venue and at times throughout the day

This competition is Number 1 in a Series of 2 International Foil Competitions.
The Number 2 competition is being held in Melbourne, Australia, on 5, 6 May 2007.
Entry Fees:
New Zealand: Entry for Individual events is $30.00 first weapon, $15.00 for each additional weapon.
International entries $30 per person, payable prior to competition.
Team Entries are $NZ50 per event and payable by the respective regional/national bodies.

Clothing and Equipment: Full FIE clothing and equipment.
Competition Format: First round pools will generally consist of 5 – 7 fencers (bouts to 5 hits) with all fencers promoting to DE. Where numbers dictate, the Tournament Organisers reserve the right to run the first round of pools to split times and/or promote fencers directly to Direct Elimination.
Medals will be awarded for 1st – 4th place. There will not be a fence off for third with both losing semi finalists awarded Bronze medals.
Catering: Food and drink will be available to be purchased at the hall on all days.
Medical: Trained first aid present.
Accommodation: We hope to be able to offer billeting to all overseas fencers attending this competition. Those requiring billets please notify the organisers of their arrival and departure dates and times by 7 April 2007.
