I need to get some stuff from Rapid and from RS.

Does anyone else want anything while I am ordering, so we can save the
postage ?

In the case of Rapid, they are doing a 'free postage if you spend £10
(excl VAT)' promotion until Christmas.

Enter the promotion code 10DEL (must be in upper case) when ordering
online.

Apropos of that, CPC are doing one of their regular 'free postage if
you spend £10 (excl VAT)' promotions until 23:59 Saturday (today).
Enter the code WEBFREE in the order comments box; you won't see the
handling charge disappear on the web but you will get it taken off
later.

If you register for an account at RS you get free postage with no minimum order.

I did that but when I try to check out it adds a fiver postage.

I only want 5x FDV303N (354-4890) @ 30p each, so a fiver postage seems a bit
harsh.

Am I missing something?

Maybe it's only for business accounts or they stopped it for new
registrations, but I definitely have free shipping enabled on my RS account.

I can get them shipped directly to you (definitely works, done it
before) if you want to Paypal me 2 and your address to
gadget...@gmail.com?

The MOSFETs arrived in the post today. RS had a sense of humour when they
put each individual surface mount MOSFET in it's own anti static bag,
which were then in a paper bag, which is then in a large padded envelope.
Rather than just putting the 5 MOSFET's in a single static bag inside the
envelope...

Ah well, time to get the soldering iron hot!

Thank you for helping with this.
