Hey!

Well this is a lucky and opportune chance encounter.

We are a group of 5 people in Broadstairs who were getting ready to
setup our own hackerspace. We planned our first general assembly to
outline our action for the 20th April: http://libbitcoin.org/broadstairs/

However I did not know you guys existed, and if you're further along
with your plans then it makes sense for me to convince the others to
join with you.

We found some cheap spaces here for like 200 GBP a month.

Hello,

I didn't know you existed. Added you to activethanet.com which may
help improve visibility.

Cheers,
PR

Yeah we just about still exist. Not much has happened in 2012 due to low turnouts near the end of 2011.

CantHackspace does cross-pollinate with Kent Linux User Group - KLUG, which is itself in need of rejuvenation...

http://kentlug.org/

....and ICMPrototype, based at Chatham, which has a core group trying to boost numbers

http://icmp.org.uk/

All new inputs welcome......perhaps we should link websites/mailing lists/facebook/twitter/RSSfeeds etc?

Aitch :)
