Hi Canterbury Hackspace,

I'm trying to find people in the Canterbury area who are involved in Hackspaces or Makerspaces... and I appreciate that this group is a bit ... um potentially dormant?, but none-the-less... it exists, and therefore might have people who can help me on it! :D

OggCamp '17 [1] was recently announced, which is the largest Free Culture [2] Unconference in the UK. It's on it's 8th iteration, and historically, we've had representation from the local hacker/maker spaces at each event, and we were wondering whether anyone from the Canterbury area, involved in a hacker/maker space would like to attend?

Even if you don't want to attend to be the face of your Maker/Hack space, but are still interested in coming, please get a ticket - which are pay-what-you-want-from-free :)

All the best,

[1] http://Oggcamp.org
[2] Free culture includes Free/Libre and Open Source Software, Creative Commons, Open Hardware, Digital Rights and Maker/Hacker Spaces.
