Can GRI 3.0 be used for the case of methanol combustion? If not, where can I get reaction mechanism for methanol combustion?

CH3OH is in the file.  If you need nitrous oxide reactions, which are not in the GRI30 file, there is a file on the Lawrence Livermore site..

I converted this to a *.cti file which is attached.  I mention that I did the conversion because I am not an expert, if you are doing this for professional work you might
want to find someone who has more experience with Chemkin to Cantera conversions.

Hi,

While GRI 3.0 does contain methanol as a species, none of the experimental data on which it is based are for methanol combustion. You can see the list of experiments that were used at http://combustion.berkeley.edu/gri-mech/version30/text30.html.

If you want to find mechanisms that are validated for methanol combustion, all you have to do is search Google Scholar for "methanol combustion mechanism" and you should find some.

Regards,
Ray
